This action entertainer is directed by Hari. Tamanna hopes to repeat the success of her latest Telugu release 100% Love, in Vengai.The actress is all set to change her girl-next-door image with her sensuous appearances in two upcoming movies - Vengai and Badrinath. This is Tamanna's first appearance with Dhanush. She portrays a college student in the movie. After Singam, director Hari has once again tried his hand at a masala entertainer. Most of the songs were shot at picturesque locations in Malaysia and Phuket.The director of the film, Hari, claims this role will be a milestone in Dhanush's career. He said Dhanush will play an angry young man and an obedient son in Vengai, unlike his earlier films where he played carefree young men. Pretty Tamanna adds glamour to the film. Tamanna and Dhanush share a sizzling chemistry in the movie. The shooting of the movie started in November 2010 at Trichy. Vengai is scheduled to release in July.
