Ala Modalaindi, are back with their on-screen romance in
Sega.
Sega is a bilingual film. Its Tamil version is titled
Veppam. It's an action-packed romantic thriller. With
Sega, her second Telugu movie after
Ala Modalaindi, Nithya Menon is hoping to strengthen her foothold in Tollywood.The audio of the film was launched in Hyderabad on May 15. The plot revolves around characters living in slum areas and their daily struggles.Nithya says that after her Telugu debut
Ala Modalaindi succeeded at the box office, she has offers galore but she wants to pick roles that inspire her. “My character in
Sega is very close to my heart,” says Nithya. Nithya says she is focused on performance-oriented roles. The South damsel is not counting on glamour and oomph for quick success. Producer Ashok Vallabahneni is banking on the screen chemistry between Nithya and Nani to make the film a box-office hit. Joshva Sridhar has scored the music for the film. Anjana Ali Khan, who has directed the Telugu and Tamil versions, says that her aim was to make a small budget movie that appeals to the masses. “We have taken all care to make the film look real,” says Anjana.
Sega is expected to release at the end of May.
